  • Bresaola, thinly sliced: 150 g
  • Smoked turkey ham, thinly sliced: 200 g
  • Hard-boiled eggs: 8–10
  • Pitted green olives: 200 g
  • Black olives: 120 g
  • Cucumbers: 2–3
  • Cherry tomatoes: 250 g
  • Curly lettuce: 1–2 heads
  • Firm cheese: 150 g
  • Pickles: 100 g
  • Grapes, optional: 150 g
  • Crackers: 1 package

Cooking Instructions

  1. 01

Cook the eggs for 9u201310 minutes, cool them in ice water, peel them, and cut them in half.

  2. 02

Wash and dry the cucumbers and cherry tomatoes. Slice the cucumbers into thin, even rounds.

  3. 03

To create the large centerpiece rose, arrange the beef salami slices in overlapping circles. Gradually bring the slices closer toward the center, then roll the final slices to form the heart of the rose.

  4. 04

Make the small turkey ham roses by gently folding and rolling the slices into flower shapes.

  5. 05

Cover the large round board with curly lettuce leaves, arranging them all around to create a fresh green base and fill empty spaces.

  6. 06

Place the large salami rose in the center of the board, then arrange the black olives around it in an even circle.

  7. 07

Arrange the egg halves around the olives, with the yolks facing toward the center to create the look of flower petals.

  8. 08

Distribute the turkey ham roses around the board, spacing them evenly for a balanced composition.

  9. 09

Fold the bresaola and salami slices into fans or small waves, then place them in the remaining spaces.

  10. 10

Arrange the cucumber slices in fan shapes, slightly overlapping them to create neat, decorative patterns.

  11. 11

Add the cherry tomatoes and green olives in small groups between the different sections of the board.

  12. 12

Add the cheese, pickles, and crackers to the remaining spaces while maintaining the floral shape and symmetry of the platter.

  13. 13

Add a few extra lettuce leaves to fill small gaps and give the presentation more volume.

  14. 14

Keep the board refrigerated until ready to serve, then present it immediately to preserve the freshness and beautiful arrangement.

Chef notes

- Use very thinly sliced meats to create neat, realistic roses. - Pat cucumbers, olives, and tomatoes dry before arranging to prevent excess moisture. - Keep the center rose tightly rolled for a more defined floral shape. - Arrange ingredients in symmetrical sections for a polished, elegant presentation. - Prepare the board shortly before serving and keep it refrigerated until ready to serve. - Use different colors and textures to make the board look more abundant and visually appealing.
