Ingredients

  • 250–300 g thinly sliced beef salami
  • 3–4 firm tomatoes
  • 1 cucumber
  • 100 g black olives
  • 100 g green olives
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Cooking Instructions

  1. 01

Prepare the cucumber: Wash the cucumber and cut it into thin, even slices. Arrange the slices in overlapping rows on the white serving platter, following the pattern shown.

  2. 02

Prepare the tomatoes: Wash the tomatoes and cut them into even quarters. Arrange the tomato wedges neatly in the designated spaces around the cucumber.

  3. 03

Arrange the black olives: Place the black olives together in a compact section on the left side of the platter, filling the empty space evenly.

  4. 04

Arrange the green olives: Place the green olives together in a compact section on the right side of the platter.

  5. 05

Make the salami rose: Take several thin salami slices and fold and overlap them in a circular pattern to create one large, open salami rose.

  6. 06

Place the salami rose: Carefully place the large salami rose directly in the center of the platter.

  7. 07

Add the tomato wedges: Arrange the quartered tomato wedges around the salami rose, keeping them evenly spaced and symmetrical.

  8. 08

Final arrangement: Make sure the cucumber, tomatoes, olives, and salami rose are neatly arranged and balanced across the platter.

  9. 09

Garnish: Add a small amount of fresh parsley if desired and serve.

Chef notes

- Use firm, fresh vegetables so the platter keeps its shape. - Slice the cucumber thinly and evenly for a clean, symmetrical pattern. - Choose firm tomatoes and cut the wedges evenly. - Use thin salami slices to make the rose easier to shape. - Overlap the salami slices tightly so the rose looks full and natural. - Place the salami rose at the center for a strong visual focal point. - Arrange the olives in compact, balanced sections on both sides. - Pat the vegetables dry before arranging to prevent excess moisture on the platter. - Keep the platter refrigerated until serving for the freshest presentation. - For the best appearance, assemble the platter shortly before serving.
