Ingredients
- 1 small pumpkin or mini pie pumpkin
- breadsticks or grissini
- 6–8 slices turkey prosciutto or thinly sliced turkey
- 8–10 slices turkey salami
- 8 oz Parmesan cheese, cut into rustic chunks
- 6 oz mozzarella pearls or small mozzarella balls
- 8 oz string cheese, cut into thin sticks
- Fresh thyme sprigs
- Fresh oregano
- Fresh rosemary
- Black pepper, for the mozzarella balls
Cooking Instructions
-
01
Prepare the pumpkin: Place the mini pumpkin in the center of the wooden board, keeping the stem visible as the centerpiece.
-
02
Make the salami roses: Arrange thin slices of turkey salami in overlapping circles, then gently roll them into 2u20133 rose shapes and place them around the board.
-
03
Wrap the breadsticks: Bundle several pieces of string cheese together and wrap the upper portion with thin slices of turkey prosciutto, leaving the cheese ends exposed.
-
04
Arrange the breadsticks: Place the wrapped breadsticks around the pumpkin like sun rays, adding plain breadsticks between them for texture.
-
05
Add the cheeses: Arrange Parmesan chunks, mozzarella pearls, and small bundles of remaining string cheese around the board. Sprinkle the mozzarella lightly with black pepper.
-
06
Add fresh herbs: Tuck thyme, oregano, and rosemary sprigs throughout the board to create a beautiful autumn look.
-
07
Style the board: Balance the colors and textures, keeping the pumpkin as the focal point and spacing the breadsticks evenly around it.
-
08
Serve: Serve immediately with your favorite crackers or extra breadsticks.
