Ingredients

  • 1 large cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 6–8 hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 cup black olives
  • 250–300 g beef salami, thinly sliced
  • 2 large bunches fresh parsley
  • 1 large bunch fresh chives or green onions
  • Optional: toothpicks for securing the salami roses

Cooking Instructions

  1. 01

Prepare the stem: Arrange the chives vertically on a large oval serving platter to form the flower stems.

  2. 02

Create the petals: Layer cucumber slices in an overlapping circular pattern above the stems.

  3. 03

Add the center petals: Slice the hard-boiled eggs lengthwise and arrange them in a smaller ring inside the cucumbers.

  4. 04

Make the center: Place black olives tightly together in the middle.

  5. 05

Make salami roses: Fold and roll thin salami slices into rose shapes, then secure if needed.

  6. 06

Decorate: Arrange the salami roses around the cucumber flower and fill the remaining spaces with fresh parsley sprigs.

  7. 07

Serve: Chill until ready to serve and enjoy as a beautiful edible appetizer.
