Ingredients

  • 12 oz rotini pasta (or penne/rigatoni)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded provolone cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup cream cheese (or sour cream)
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

Step 1 – Cook the Pasta

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the rotini and cook until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Step 2 – Sauté the Beef and Veggies

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in chopped onions, green bell pepper, and minced garlic. Sauté for 4–5 minutes until vegetables are softened.

Step 3 – Make It Cheesy and Creamy

  • Pour in Worcestershire sauce and beef broth. Stir in Italian seasoning, cream cheese, provolone, and mozzarella. Mix until the cheese melts and forms a creamy, smooth sauce.

Step 4 – Combine with Pasta

  • Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the sauce. Let simmer for 2–3 minutes. Garnish with parsley and cracked pepper before serving.

Notes

  • Use freshly shredded cheese for best melt and flavor.
  • You can substitute ground beef with ground turkey or plant-based protein.
  • Want a spicy kick? Add a pinch of red pepper flakes or diced jalapeño.
  • Leftovers store well in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
